Here are some more Freedom of Information requests our PR guru Brian is considering throwing at the DSA :
1. The DSA survey states that only 40% of PDIs apply for a trainee licence - can you please show the figures that were used for statement.
2. With regard to the recent survey on driving instructor training can you please supply a breakdown of respondents in the following categories
- How many are active ADIs
- How many are retired ADIs
- How many are active PDIs
- How many are PDIs that failed to qualify
- How many are trainers on the ORDIT register
- How many are trainers not on the ORDIT register
- How many are driving schools
- How many are independent ADIs
- How many are driving examiners or employees of the DSA
- How many are members of the general public not included in the above categories.
We anticipate we may get an answer to question 1 and doubt we will get an answer to 2. If that’s the case the results of their survey will be undermined. Can anyone think of any more questions? Please send your comments/questions via our contact form on our website.
