KISS Driving Instructor Training

Some last minute one to one driving instructor training in Andover for Nick today with KISS Trainer Neil . Nick's time is restricted and so Neil has travelled to him instead of his normal ADI Training in Poole on Mondays. Nick has got his ADI Part 3 test in Southampton on Friday and according to Neil, fully understands our client centred training technique. It's been a long journey but it looks like Nick will complete his task to become a driving instructor in Andover this week. KISS Trainer Neil from Wimborne has been working hard with Nick from Andover on his ADI Part 3 skills in preparation for a test at Maybush driving test centre in Southampton next week. We also have a few others with us today working on their own driving instructor training programmes including some of those who usually do their ADI Training in Basingstoke on Saturdays. KISS Trainer Dieter is leading our weekly ADI Training in Kingston this morning with six trainee instructors all working together to become a driving instructor . Atta is a little nervous as he starts to  work on a trainee licence and using his client centred learning skills. Haroon and Hakim are making good progress with their ADI Part 2 driving skills and their ADI Part 3 technique. Mudasser has brought a friend along for a free driving instructor training session to see how we deliver our ADI Part 3 training. His friend has been struggling to develop his teachiing skills in part because he doesn't have the training aids necessary. Whilst training with us he also observed 'how everyone was working so well together' and 'how simply the trainers identified my weaknesses and worked through things to help me improve/.    

Today we welcomed a new trainee to our Driving Instructor Training programme in Southampton. KISS Trainer Neil was on hand to welcome Steve and introduce him to his first ADI Training session. Steve has chosen to become a driving instructor because he wants the security of working for himself having been made redundant twice in the last four years. Having signed up to the programme he has now recieved our unique training aids and has completed his first ADI Part 2 driving lesson and watched some ADI Part 3 training in which he see how we use a client centred learning approach to teaching.

Today, Kiss trainer Neil had the opportunity to have his driving assessed by one of Dorset's top Police Driving Instructors. The aim was to ensure that the KISS ADI Training programme stays up to date with the best driving techniques. KISS Trainer Neil had a one to one ADI Training session with Ollie from Southampton in preparation for her Standards Check on Wednesday at Maybush Driving Test Centre. Neil took Ollie trhough our unique Standards Test training material. They evaluated her choice of pupil, the subject she aimed to cover and the route planned for the lesson. The work they did together remined Ollie of the need to keep developing her skills by attending our weekly driving instructor training in Southampton . By helping others once they have become a driving instructor we know our ADI's keep improving their own client centred learning skills.

Having passed his Part 2 driving test a few weeks ago Dave from Bournemouth is busy working on his ADI Part 3 training and getting ready to teach learners on a trainee licence. Dave is supervised and trained by KISSTrainer Neil from Wimborne and ADI's who work alongside him. Neil has helped many trainees who wanted to become a driving instructor in places such as Eastleigh, Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester and other parts of the South Coast.
