KISS Driving Instructor Training

KISS Trainer Tracey is holding an ADI Part 3 classroom session this morning at which the trainees engage in discussions around their driving instructor training in Reading. It's important to train people to become a driving instructor first and pass the three tests second, in that way each of our driving instructors can develop their career and income. Alexandra and Suzanne from Reading, Sadia from Newbury and Kevin from Slough are working on their ADI training today. KISS Trainer Tracey and ADI Matthew from Bracknell are working with them to help them become a driving instructor . Suzanne goes for an ADI Part 2 drive which takes her through Wokingham to test her ability to read the road ahead as she hasn't been there before. The other trainees are all working on their ADI Part 3 instructional ability skills. As they progress our job is to identify any weaknesses they can then work on with learners. KISS Trainer Tracey from Reading is in Newbury this afternoon to do some one to one ADI Part 3 training with Saida who is struggling with her client centred learning technique. As with other trainee driving instructors Sadia is struggling with the concept of asking simple questions. Tracey has identified the problem and provided a very simple solution, which is to use the very simple and unique training aids . The dialogue needed to teach well is actucally very simple but you will need to used closed questioning to deliver brisk, competent briefings. On the move you will need to be very structured and literal to enable the pupil to respond properly.
