2 New Trainee Instructors Join KISS

We are so pleased to welcome 2 new trainee instructors to KISS driver training. Diane is from Hatch Warren near Basingstoke & Paul is from Basingstoke town centre. We are so busy in the Basingstoke area and we can't wait to get them up & running, that'll take some of the pressure off.

Paul has been working in the area of training previously, so hopefully that will help him in his new career. We threw him in the deep end when we recently helped out at the road safety event at Brockenhurst, he coped admirably and really enjoyed himself, it looks like he'll make a very good instructor. Diane decided to start her new career when her son took lessons with our instructor Michelle. Well done Michelle, what an inspiration you must be.

We are also starting Instructor training sessions in Basingstoke on 4th Oct, this will add to the already established training at various locations in the South East, & we welcome anyone to come along and see what we do.

Driving Instructor training in Camberley

Dean from Basingstoke, Diane from Farnham and Lok from Aldershot have come to Farnborough for one to one  ADI training delivered by KISSTrainer Alan . Lok is working on ADI Part 2 and the other two are working on their ADI Part 3 techniques and dialogue. Sally is with us from Southampton and all are working hard to help them improve. The KISS driving instructor training programme ensures the trainers work together to collectively deliver client centred learning which helps everyone who wants to become a driving instructor . Because we offer unlimited training our trainee instructors are able to attend two to three training sessions every week.

Should we use a sledge hammer to crack a nut?

The DSA have shown, over the last ten years or more they are unable to drive through change and they certainly haven’t demonstrated how they would train instructors to meet their currently stated  needs. In Germany trainee instructors go to university for six months to study phsycology. Ask a Part 3 examiner ‘why do you want to drive’ and you are likely get the response ‘what’s that got to do with anything’. The first issue is that there are too many trainers with insufficient knowledge to train instructors, particularly in the skills of ‘client centred learning. Similarly they will not be able to deliver coaching skills training, essential to delivering the higher levels of the GDE Matrix. Has DSA considered how this is going to be addressed as without a higher level of competence the instructors will be unable to deliver the driver standards syllabus. The flaws as we see it in the DSA argument for their preferred option are as follows: DSA endorsed the Hermes proje...

Driving Instructor Training in Cambridge

KISS Trainer Gary is doing one to one ADI Training in Cambridge with Slawa and Jerry today. Both of these guys are really working hard to become a driving instructor in their areas, which are Corby and Peterborough. We anticipate both will complete their driving instructor training programme in the next two to three months. KISS Trainers are all trained in-house to deliver our own unique client centred learning techniques using our unique training aids. ADI Part 3 training can be easy when the trainee is given the right material and training to develop their skills, which is why we can promise a 95% succes rate.
