Driving Instructor Training

If you want to become a driving instructor you need to keep in mind six simple but key words. These are What, Why, How and Tell, Ask and Watch.

When you are a driving instructor you must teach your pupils What they need to do, Why they need to do it and How they should do it. When they make a mistake, What was wrong, Why is it wrong and How do we fix it.To make sure your level of instruction is correct watch the pupil and then Tell them what to do, Ask what they should be doing or simply keep Watching. In that way you keep it simple and deliver client centred learning which speeds up the learning process.

We use exactly the same technique in our driving instructor training programme because it's simple to use and it delivers success. Our ADI training has a 95% success rate in part because our unique training and aids deliver what you need to qualify and you don't need to do any home study.

Driving Instructor Training in Cambridge

KISS Trainer Gary is doing one to one ADI Training in Cambridge with Slawa and Jerry today. Both of these guys are really working hard to become a driving instructor in their areas, which are Corby and Peterborough. We anticipate both will complete their driving instructor training programme in the next two to three months. KISS Trainers are all trained in-house to deliver our own unique client centred learning techniques using our unique training aids. ADI Part 3 training can be easy when the trainee is given the right material and training to develop their skills, which is why we can promise a 95% succes rate.

Should we use a sledge hammer to crack a nut?

The DSA have shown, over the last ten years or more they are unable to drive through change and they certainly haven’t demonstrated how they would train instructors to meet their currently stated  needs. In Germany trainee instructors go to university for six months to study phsycology. Ask a Part 3 examiner ‘why do you want to drive’ and you are likely get the response ‘what’s that got to do with anything’. The first issue is that there are too many trainers with insufficient knowledge to train instructors, particularly in the skills of ‘client centred learning. Similarly they will not be able to deliver coaching skills training, essential to delivering the higher levels of the GDE Matrix. Has DSA considered how this is going to be addressed as without a higher level of competence the instructors will be unable to deliver the driver standards syllabus. The flaws as we see it in the DSA argument for their preferred option are as follows: DSA endorsed the Hermes project f
